Embody Erotica Writing Class – Terms, Conditions & Waiver

By registering for and participating in the Embody Erotica Writing Class (the “Class”), taught by Anita Coats (the “Instructor”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Waiver (the “Agreement”):
1. Age Requirement
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in and participate in this Class. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Nature of the Class – Not Therapy or Professional Advice
This Class is intended for creative exploration, education, and personal expression only. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health services. No guarantees or representations are made regarding outcomes or results.
3. Small, Interactive Class – Camera Requirement
This is a live, small-group, interactive Class.
To participate, your camera/video must be turned on for the duration of the Class.
You may turn your camera off temporarily while writing or during designated writing periods.
Your camera must be on during discussions, group engagement, and instructional portions.
No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the Class without refund.
4. Privacy & Recording Policy
To honor participant privacy:
Class calls are not recorded.
Participants may not record, photograph, screenshot, or otherwise capture the Class in any format.
5. No Refunds – All Sales Are Final
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
6. Transfer Policy
If you wish to transfer to a different Class date, you must provide at least fourteen (14) days’ notice prior to the original start date. Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
7. Participant Conduct & Removal Policy
The Instructor reserves the right, at her sole discretion, to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or negatively impacts the learning environment.
No refunds will be issued if a participant is removed.
8. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
All Class materials—including prompts, exercises, teachings, and content—are protected intellectual property and are for personal use only.
Participants agree to respect the privacy, boundaries, and creative work of others and not to share or distribute fellow participants’ content without consent.
9. Content Advisory
The Class includes sexually explicit, erotic, and mature themes. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are comfortable engaging with this material and accept full responsibility for your experience.
10. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Participation in the Class may involve emotional, psychological, or creative risk. By enrolling, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Anita Coats and any associated parties from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from your participation.
11. Class Participation Agreement
To participate in the Embody Erotica Writing Class (the “Class”), your agreement to this Release of Liability and Class Agreement is required as a condition of participation.
By agreeing to this Agreement, you understand and acknowledge that:
You are capable of making your own decisions, independent of the influence of others.
You will share only the personal information you feel comfortable sharing.
Participants may come from diverse backgrounds and hold beliefs or opinions different from your own.
You may hear statements or encounter perspectives you disagree with or find uncomfortable.
Participation in any discussion, prompt, or activity is voluntary.
If you choose to participate, you do so of your own free will.
You voluntarily and knowingly accept all risks described in this Agreement.
12. Agreement & Acceptance
By registering for and participating in this Class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined above. Continued participation constitutes ongoing acceptance of this Agreement.
